Even though it's owned by industry giant

Beringer Blass, this new Central Coast operation is small and hands-on. So far quality has been high, prices low. They named it after their top vineyard manager, Bob "Taz" Steinhauer.  Drawing on over 30 years of experience, Bob planted three carefully chosen vineyard sites.  This Chard comes from the Cat Canyon Vineyard near Los Alamos. It was barrel fermented with partial malolactic.  Rich Santa Barbara tropical fruit, creamy texture, good acid.
