Pinot Blanc is the least expensive wine for most Alsatian wineries, and usually the least interesting. But not at Meyer-Fonne. Winemaker Felix Meyer, trained at Zind-Humbrecht, takes Pinot Blanc to a higher level. A sample of this organic, old vine cuvee convinced importer Kermit Lynch he had to have Meyer-Fonne in his portfolio. Fresh apple and pear flavors, impeccably balanced.
