We are traditionalists still offering one of the last full service meat departments in the Bay Area. All meats and poultry are cut and trimmed to perfection by our qualified butchers with years of experience. The department is managed by West Marin native Deb Truttman whose roots go deep, having been raised on a farm in Olema.

We offer a full selection of meat and poultry. On any given day you can find duck, rabbit, game hens, capons and much more in addition to specialty cuts of beef, pork and lamb. If we don't have something that your looking for on hand we are happy to order it for you, dont be afraid to ask. As one of the few remaining authentic butcher shops we pride ourselves in getting you exactly what you need for your favorite meal.

Our meat department here at the Mill Valley Market, hand prepares a wide variety of marinated meat and poultry products. We make the marinades , hand cut the meats, and package them all right here at the Mill Valley Market. All of these products are vacuum sealed to allow them to last longer in your fridge. These products are also perfect for freezing at home for later use. They can all be found below the meat counter in the self-serve refrigerator, just grab one and get on with your day.
